Our self-catering cottages are situated on the hillside each with it's own balcony, affording views of the town and surrounding countryside. Each cottage is purpose built offering modern comfortable accommodation, which is fitted out to the highest standards and includes gas central heating and double glazing. The location is within minutes walk of the town centre and all its amenities and facilities, so you can leave the car behind in the on-site car park and enjoy a choice of restaurants, pubs, (some with local evening entertainment) a fitness centre with 25m swimming pool, tennis and squash courts. There are regular farmers and continental markets held in the town centre; annual festivals include the Jedburgh Callants Festival at the end of June and the beginning of July; Jedburgh Half marathon in October and rugby at The Riverside. There is an excellent Gateway Visitor Centre for information of, What to see and do, during your stay. The cottages provide seclusion and privacy. Local visitor attractions include a 12th century abbey, Mary Queen of Scots house and a Georgian Reform Jail, as well as waymarked walking and cycling routes - (bicycle hire nearby).The perfect base for a short or long stay holiday to enjoy the wonderful open countryside.
